Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company performs dredging and marine construction throughout the coastal United States and overseas. We currently maintain 30 dredges (bucket, hydraulic cutterhead, and hopper), derricks, booster platforms, drill rigs, tugboats, and hydrographic survey boats, giving us the largest dredging and support fleet in the Western Hemisphere. We are currently looking for engineers to fill entry level Construction Engineering / Management (Field Engineer) positions. The field engineer duties include, but are not limited to:

Since we are a field-oriented company, travel is extensive. A Field Engineer must work a 3 week on /1 week off rotation. The company provides housing, transportation, and a meal perdiem while on site. Airfare transportation for your time-off (to and from your home base) is company provided. In most cases, the company promotes from within so career advancement opportunities are timely and are based entirely on performance. We currently have projects along every coast of the United States. At present, most of our projects are domestic. However, further into a field engineer's career, international projects may be offered, but are not mandatory. We presently have projects going on in Africa, Egypt, and the Middle East.

We are interested in receiving resumes of graduates or graduating seniors in the Civil Engineering; Ocean Engineering, Construction Management, Surveying; Civil Engineering Technology, and Construction Engineering Technology curriculums.
