Staff Scientist/Engineer

Position available to join an interdisciplinary team of scientists and
engineers to support the development and integration of GIS tools and
numerical modeling systems for use in environmental analysis, operational
numerical modeling and decision support.  Candidates will assist in the
development of customized GIS processes/tools, database integration and the
application of numerical models.  A BS in the fields of engineering,
oceanography, meteorology, hydrology or related field are preferred and
additional experience in ESRI ArcGIS/ArcObjects and data analysis is highly
desirable.  Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a Department

Project Engineer/Scientist

Position available to join an interdisciplinary team of scientists and
engineers to support Tactical Decision Aide development incorporating the
integration of numerical models, pollutant transport kinetics and graphical
user interfaces for joint military operations.  Candidates will perform
independent research in the area of chemical transport kinetics in a marine
environment and assist in the development of numerical transport
algorithms.  A BS in the fields of engineering, chemistry, oceanography or
related field are preferred and additional experience in VB, C/C++, C#,
JAVA or FORTRAN and Geographic Information Systems is highly desirable.
