Entry level applicants are being considered, but must have the technical background required to accomplish various coastal engineering tasks. The position is a broad-based engineering position with a concentration in beach nourishment involving client contact, feasibility analyses, engineering designs, limited computer modeling, report preparation, permitting and construction engineering services, at a minimum. This position is located in our Boca Raton, Florida corporate office with opportunities for travel and field work. The following minimum qualifications are required: a. Bachelor's degree in coastal engineering or similar field. b. FE certification and/or Master's degree is preferred. c. Demonstrated ability to fluently communicate in spoken and written English. d. Must possess a clean driving record. e. Have a passion for working in a consulting firm environment on coastal projects. f. Be able to legally work in the United States without support for an indefinite period of time. g. Willingness to occasionally travel and work at beachfront locations with minimal supervision for short periods of time. h. Have the ability to handle multiple assignments efficiently and effectively. i. Be able to work independently and with our multidisciplinary team of professionals and staff.
