We have a fabulous new internship opportunity posted on our website for an intern to work with the scientific applications of industrial Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs). The intern will have the incredible opportunity to work on a drill ship on the Gulf of Mexico to analyze industrial ROV data. During the internship, the student will have a chance to use their skills in marine biology to analyze planktonic organisms! During the internship, the interns will take 3 classes in helicopter safety - because you will have the incredible opportunity to travel by helicopter to the drill ship! This internship will be especially relevant for those of you who are interested in working with using ROVs for scientific purposes or in marine biology. The position will last 6 weeks from late June- early August (the dates are flexible). The intern will receive a stipend of $350/week, room and board and all travel expenses will be covered!
