We are currently seeking recent Graduates to be part of our Project Management team as Field Engineers for many upcoming projects. Field Engineers provide Engineering assistance on offshore construction of pipeline and drilling platforms and acts as a liaison with offshore customer representatives. * Prepares field installation Manuals on assigned projects for use by pipeline or derrick barge superintendents. * Prepares load out drawings and oversees offshore material barge load outs of platforms, pipelines, or other materials in the fabrication yard. * Coordinates on-site platform installations and pipeline operations by assisting the derrick barge or pipeline superintendents. * Performs work in construction with structural installations, determined pipeline position and profile during construction in order to inform operations personnel and customers of progress, ad monitors laying stresses during installation. * Prepares and submits post-job analysis of assigned projects for review by management. * Provides technical assistance to the companies operational personnel and the customer representatives. * Checks and interprets drawings for superintendents and/or barge foreman during installation of offshore platforms in regard to orientation of platforms, boat landings, and risers. * Monitors accuracy of pile driving records and runs calculations in regard to stinger buoyancy. * Performs calculations to determine proper slings are used and ensures the approved factors of safety are fulfilled for lifting and quality control measures. * Monitors technical aspects of the work and keeps the superintendent advised on the correctness of the results being obtained.
